What size web sites do you work on?

We produce websites for small-medium sized businesses.

We also build bespoke microsites for larger companies where their main website can’t support a current marketing campaign adequately.

How much will it cost for you to build a website?

This entirely depends on the size, and functionality of website you require.

It’s therefore difficult to give a figure. Our websites can vary from £300 up to £25,000.

What technologies do you use?

Design Fidelity produce websites using various platforms depending on your requirements.

For an e-commerce website we usually use Shopify, for a basic content managed website we use a nifty little content management system called Perch and for blogs we use Wordpress.

We also work on the Social Engine platform to produce social networking applications.

For more bespoke database requirements we program in ASP.net

What do you need to know for a full website proposal?

We would ask for you to complete a client work sheet.

This not only helps us assess your requirements, but also helps prospective clients focus on what they really want.

How long does it take to produce a website?

This depends on size, complexity and our current workload.

From receiving the full brief, the average website would usually take between one week and one month to complete.

Will we need a maintenance contract with you?

The majority of our websites don’t need a maintenance contract as they’re content managed. However, some clients may prefer Design Fidelity to maintain their website. This may be because it’s a static site, or perhaps they don’t have the resource to update it regularly or process new images.

Do I need a content management system?

No, but for SEO purposes it’s important to keep your website content fresh. Therefore, in most cases we would recommend it. Content management systems make updating your website very easy, and can save a lot of time and money in the long run.

Do you work with flash?

Yes, we produce rich media flash adverts, and utilise Flash in websites for headers, video and audio. We usually advise against building an entire website in Flash due to the search enginge optimisation (SEO) issues it can raise.

Can Design Fidelity add video to our site?

Yes we can.

Do you provide website hosting?

Yes, we host most of our websites on our own secure, fast, virtual private server.

How long does it take to produce an HTML newsletter?

This depends on if it’s from scratch or from an existing template.

It also depends on how much HTML there is in the newsletter. A newsletter can take from 30 minutes to 6 hours to build, but for a better answer, call us on 0207 193 5688 and tell us more.

Do you manage the mailing lists and sending of the newsletters?

Yes, we offer this service, but nine times out of ten, the client usually prefers to take care of that side of things.

Will your newsletters look the same in all email clients?

e test the newsletters in Outlook 2007, Hotmail, Gmail and Yahoo. This ensures that the vast majority of readers see the email the way it was intended.

What Experience do you have of building newsletters?

We’ve been designing and building HTML newsletters for nine years.

Our clients include John Lewis, Loot, CT Shirts, The FA, Waitrose and Michael Page.

Put simply, we’re amongst the quickest HTML newsletter builders and having produced so many, we know our stuff and that they will look good and be accessible viewed through the vast majority of email clients.

What sort of newsletters do you produce?

We mainly produce HTML newsletters designed to be sent to customers via email.

These can be templates that are reused within the clients mailing system or one-off bespoke templates for a unique and more flexible look.
